Each month guests can watch some of the newest film releases with an enhanced experience. Open Caption screenings occur every Monday and Wednesday and provide subtitles for those who are deaf or hard of hearing. Emagine Together screenings, occur each Saturday morning, and provide modifications to the theater atmosphere without modifying the film for those with sensory sensitivities, and families with young children. Dementia Friendly screenings, occur the second Wednesday of each month, provide exclusively selected classic movies and musicals and encourage audience participation while providing guests with special door-to-door service. April is Autism Awareness Month and the Emagine Together showings (previously known as sensory friendly screenings) offer a relaxed, more inclusive movie experience tailored for families, children, those with sensory needs, and new parents looking for a stress-free outing. The showing is designed with brighter house lights, a lower volume, and may include opportunities for audience interaction. Attendees are able to catch new release films, every Saturday morning. NATIONAL KIDNEY FOUNDATION PARTNERSHIP

During the month of April, a portion of all popcorn sales will be donated to the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan, whose mission it is to prevent kidney disease and improve the quality of life for those living with it.  For the past 70 years, the NKFM has strived to deliver programs, services, and resources to those who need them most. The National Kidney Foundation of Michigan engages in innovative programming and research focusing on preventing kidney disease and improving the quality of life for persons with kidney disease. Their research agenda includes behavioral interventions, survey research and policy change and is conducted in collaboration with leading universities, health care organizations and community-based partners.
