Opening Day Plans? Greektown in Downtown Detroit is Still the Place to Be

The Detroit Tigers’ home opener is at Comerica Park on April 3, and Greektown remains a go-to destination for fans looking to celebrate before or after the game. Located just a short walk from the ballpark, the district offers plenty of options to grab a drink, enjoy a meal, or catch the game downtown as streetscape improvements continue.

Firebird Tavern is also hosting its annual Opening Day Tent Party from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. They will have a heated tent, food trucks, drink specials, live DJ entertainment, and two large screens to watch the game. The event offers all-day plans for fans looking to enjoy Opening Day festivities in the heart of downtown.
