Goal to Raise $1.4 Million for Children’s Programs.
The Corewell Health Foundation Southeast Michigan is pleased to announce its annual Feldman Automotive Children’s Miracle Celebrity Invitational golf outing will take place on Monday, June 8. And, for the first time, the Foundation will host this fundraising event at the beautiful Wyndgate Country Club in Rochester Hills.
The Feldman Automotive Children’s Miracle Celebrity Invitational,
is Metro Detroit’s largest celebrity golf event, where every foursome enjoys an up-close and personal celebrity pairing.
Past celebrity guests have included tournament partner Mark Wahlberg, actors Donnie Wahlberg and Kevin Sorbo, athletes Marshall Faulk, Calvin Johnson, Bode Miller, and Nancy Lieberman, singer Chris Kirkpatrick, and many more. More than 50 national and local celebrities will join sponsors on the course to benefit Corewell Health Children’s and the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation.
“Corewell Health Children’s provides care for more children than any other pediatric provider in Michigan,” said Ryan Daly, president of the Corewell Health Foundation Southeast Michigan. “Events like the Feldman Automotive Children’s Miracle Celebrity Invitational support the programs and services that give kids a strong start on their road to better health and a brighter future.”
Corewell Health Foundation Southeast Michigan has been producing this event since 2021,
raising more than $7.7 million to benefit Children’s Miracle Network at Corewell Health Children’s and the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation. This year’s goal is to raise $1.4 million to support exceptional pediatric care initiatives in southeast Michigan as well as youth services and enrichment programs across the U.S.
“Through the generosity of our donors, the community and corporate leaders supporting this event, Corewell Health Children’s will continue to receive support for life-saving services, vital pediatric equipment and funds for patient scholarships for families unable to afford needed care,” Daly added. “At the same time, the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation will utilize these funds to improve the quality of life for children across the country by providing financial resources and community support to youth services.”
The fundraising begins with the support of the event’s title sponsor, the Feldman Automotive Group.
“At Feldman Automotive, giving back isn’t just something we do, it’s who we are,” said Jay Feldman, chairman/CEO of the Feldman Automotive Group. “My team and I are deeply committed to making a real difference in the lives of children, and this event is a testament to that mission. Seeing our community and incredible supporters come together, year after year, to raise funds for children in need is nothing short of inspiring. It is not just about playing a round of golf – we are helping children and their families by funding life-saving care, equipment, and programs. That’s what this is all about.”
This year’s presenting sponsor is Quantum Ventures of Michigan,
and lead sponsors include the Frankel Family Foundation and TI Automotive. Several sponsorship opportunities are available to those wishing to participate in the outing.
The event is supported as well by a dedicated group of community leaders including event co-chairs Tom Celani, Nino Cutraro, Jay Feldman, Ken Noonan, Bob Skandalaris and Sam Yamin and a twenty-member fundraising committee.
