Ten Finalists to Compete During the Planet Fitness Dance Your Way to $10K Contest Saturday, April 18, 2026!

 WHAT

Planet Fitness invited solo dancers from Michigan who are over 18 to submit 60-second video entries showcasing their best dance moves for a chance to compete for $10,000! Ten finalists were selected and will now compete on-site at Planet Fitness Troy on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

Dancers who were not selected as one of the top 10 finalists, or those who still want to enter the competition, can register on-site to become the 11^th finalist!

The on-site dance competition will be hosted by Audacy Detroit’s Jon Jansen (97.1 The Ticket) and Jason Raithel (104.3 WOMC).  The competition will consist of three high-energy rounds, during which finalists will have 60 seconds to showcase their dance skills. The dancer who advances to the final round and delivers the best performance will win $10,000!

Performances will be judged by a panel of Audacy Detroit celebrity judges; Jackie Page (WWJ-AM), Stoney (97.1 The Ticket), Joanne Purtan (104.3 WOMC), Rob Stone (99.5 WYCD), Amanda (98.7 Alt) and Josh Holleman (99.5 WYCD).

This event is free and open to the public to watch and cheer on the finalists. All attendees will also have the chance to enter-to-win one of ten $50 gas gift cards just for attending. In addition to the grand prize winner receiving $10,000, all finalists will receive a Planet Fitness prize package including a Planet Fitness shirt and a FREE One Year (12 months) Black Card membership.  The atmosphere will be electric with special appearances by the Detroit Pistons Dancers, their mascot Hooper, and PAWS from the Detroit Tigers.
