WHAT                     

The Village of Rochester Hills, metropolitan Detroit’s premier outdoor lifestyle shopping and dining destination, is inviting the community to enjoy a summer lineup of free, family-friendly events and live entertainment beginning in early June. These activations and performances will be available weekly for guests of all ages.

Guests can enjoy the beauty of summer while strolling through the center’s picturesque open-air center and creating lasting memories with family and friends! Lawn games will be available throughout Festival Park, bringing even more fun and entertainment for visitors of all ages to enjoy while taking in the lively summer atmosphere.

The Village of Rochester Hills is conveniently located at the corner of Adams and Walton Road in Rochester Hills. In addition to always offering community events, the center has over 50 unique and sought-after retailers, as well as an enhanced and unique culinary selection of restaurants. In addition to providing the latest fashion trends at stores like Von Maur, Evereve, Rowan, and lululemon, the Village of Rochester Hills is a perfect place to enrich your culinary palette offering on-site and carry-out options at restaurants like Pokeworks, Jagged Fork, Kruse and Muer, The Jackson, and P.F. Chang’s.

BUGS ON WHEELS

Synopsis: Ms. Nadia “The Bug Lady” returns this summer for an informal hands-on, education session featuring live insects and fascinating facts about them. This experience gives both children and adults the opportunity to better understand and appreciate how amazing, important, and not-so-scary bugs really are. Visit on select Thursday and Sunday mornings and see, touch, and hold some amazing little creatures. Guests can also look at taxidermy and see what scientists who study these creatures do in order to save and study them.

SING. PLAY. SPEAK. MUSIC CLASS WITH MISS CALISSA

Synopsis: Classes will take place Wednesdays and will feature fun and interactive classes for young children that encourage movement, language, social skills, and activities that support speech all while bonding through music. Bring your little ones and a blanket (classes are geared towards children birth to five years) for free, fun, and interactive music classes on the lawn.

SUMMER CONCERT SERIES

Synopsis: Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to Festival Park as you watch live concert performances Friday and Saturday evenings throughout the summer. During these free concerts, guests will be energized with a variety of musical acts including rock n’ roll, country, and contemporary that all ages will enjoy.
