Select Planet Fitness Locations Will Offer Free Club Access For All Community Members In Response To Expected Unhealthy Air Quality.

WHAT:

In response to the unhealthy air quality forecast projected for this weekend, local Planet Fitness franchisees will be opening their doors all Michigan Planet Fitness locations and select Planet Fitness locations in Indiana and Ontario, Cananda to anyone wanting to exercise indoors. All community members will be able to visit these locations from Thursday, July 16 – Sunday, July 19, 2026 for free and with no obligation to join.

“With recent alerts due to the Canadian wildfires, we want to make sure those who normally exercise outdoors have a safe option to avoid unhealthy air quality levels,” stated Sarah Wilson, Director of Marketing at with Impact Fitness Group, a Planet Fitness franchise division.

Together, EPIC Fitness Group, Impact Fitness Group, and Ohana Growth Partners own and operate over 115 Planet Fitness location in Michigan, Indiana, and Ontario, Cananda.
