Greektown in Detroit Launches Monroe Street Summer Series Every Weekend July – October, 2026!

Greektown is launching its Monroe Street Summer Series, bringing free programming to the district every weekend from July through October. Visitors can enjoy live music, family activities, cultural performances, outdoor dining, specialty-themed weekends and seasonal events while exploring one of Detroit’s most iconic neighborhoods.

Upcoming weekends include:

• Greek Heritage Weekend & Heritage Festival (July 24–26)

• Game Day on Monroe (August 1–2)

• Country on Monroe (August 7–9)
• Magic & Music Weekend (August 14–16)

• Greektown TasteFest (August 21–23)

• The Longest Dinner Table (August 28)

• Jazz & Culture Weekend (September 4–6)

• Detroit Sports Weekend (September 11–13)

• City Institute Walking Tours (July 11, August 8, September 12 and October 10)
