Little 313 Café & Play to Celebrate Grand Opening Sept. 26, 2026, with Free Family Event and Ribbon Cutting-Clinton Township, MI!

Clinton Township’s Detroit-themed indoor play city and café invites the community for free  admission, complimentary refreshments and a 3 p.m. ribbon cutting.

 Little 313 Café & Play, a Detroit-themed  indoor play city and café for children 8 and under, will celebrate its official grand opening on  Saturday, Sept. 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. at 37051 Southbound Gratiot Ave. in Clinton Township.  Admission is free, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 3 p.m. 

Guests will enjoy complimentary drinks and a light snack while children explore the play city. 

The café’s menu of coffee, espresso, matcha and dirty sodas will also be available for purchase. 

The celebration follows a soft opening on July 15, 2026 that gave local families a first look at the  updated space. 

Named for Detroit’s 313 area code, Little 313 is a hands-on, pint-sized city where kids step into  real-life roles: shopping at the market, working the post office, running the barbershop, banking,  making pizza and delivering mail to their friends. A new separate toddler area sits beside a  comfortable lounge, so parents and caregivers can relax, catch up with friends or get a little work  done while keeping an eye on their youngest. 

“Since our soft opening, we’ve loved getting to know the families in our community, and now  we’re ready to celebrate with everyone,” said Megan Calleja, co-owner of Little 313. “this place  is designed so kids can play big and grown-ups can actually finish a hot cup of coffee in the  cafe.” 

Little 313 is owned and operated by the Lopiccolo Group, LLC,

the mother-daughter team of  Wendi Sillars and Megan Calleja. Megan brings years of management experience in the coffee  service industry. Wendi built her career in healthcare and child care. 

“After a career in healthcare, safety and cleanliness are second nature to me,” said Wendi Sillars,  co-owner. “We want parents to walk in, take a breath and know their little ones are in a space  designed with them in mind.”

Beyond the grand opening, Little 313 offers drop-in open play for $15 per child with no  reservation required for open play. Families can currently book 2027 parties at 2026 rates. The  café is open to the public, with or without kids in tow. Hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 9  a.m. to 4 p.m.; weekend hours may vary for private events (see the website).
