Jewish Senior Life of Metropolitan Detroit to Celebrate Fleischman Residence Brown Memory Care Pavilion Enhancements with Multi-Chamber Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026!

Community is invited to attend and tour new multi-sensory room specially designed for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia!

WEST BLOOMFIELD, Mich.  Jewish Senior Life of Metropolitan Detroit (JSL), a nonprofit organization with independent living, assisted living and memory care communities for people of all faiths and beliefs in West Bloomfield and Oak Park, along with the Novi Chamber of Commerce and the Greater West Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce, will host a celebratory ribbon cutting event on Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Dorothy & Peter D. Brown Memory Care Pavilion at Fleischman Residence (6710 W. Maple Road in West Bloomfield). The event will showcase recent enhancements to the memory care unit, including a multi-sensory room designed to promote comfort, engagement, relaxation, and meaningful connection for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. The official ribbon cutting will take place at 4:30 p.m.

Guests will have the opportunity to tour the Brown Memory Care Pavilion,

experience the new sensory room firsthand, learn about the personalized care and engaging environment available at Fleischman Residence and its innovative programs and personalized services for residents and their families, and meet JSL team members.

In addition to memory care services, Fleischman Residence offers assisted living accommodations featuring engaging social activities, transportation services, housekeeping, chef-prepared kosher dining, and access to the vibrant Eugene & Marcia Applebaum Jewish Community Campus.
