Two-day event offers seasonal food samples, new bakery desserts, holiday catering options and a chance to win a free holiday meal!

Busch’s Fresh Food Market is helping make holiday planning a little easier with ‘Tastes of the Season’.

This two-day event takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, and Sunday, Nov. 15, at all 16 Busch’s locations across southeastern Michigan. Guests can sample select seasonal dishes, including sage brush stuffing and cranberry orange relish, along with Busch’s Farm Truck Cheddar, produced by its own cheesemaker in Wisconsin.

Just in time for the season’s celebrations, Busch’s Bakehouse in Clinton, Michigan, has expanded its selection of premium desserts made with quality ingredients and extra attention to detail. New offerings include salted caramel cake, chocolate raspberry cake, lemon chiffon cake, pumpkin mousse pie and chocolate cream pie.

“This event will give guests the opportunity to preview our special menus and choose the dishes they know will be enjoyed by their family and friends around the holiday table,” said Busch’s Director of Food Service Joanne Zlotorzynski. “We know how important holiday meals are for creating special memories. Thanks to Busch’s, hosts don’t need to be in the kitchen all day or miss the parade or football game.”

In addition, one lucky family who pre-orders their holiday meal during the event will have the chance to win their meal for free (up to $159).

Busch’s offers complete meals featuring a choice of boneless turkey breast, classic turkey, spiral-sliced ham or beef tenderloin for those planning a traditional holiday feast. Complete meals include side dishes and rolls, making it easier to serve a special meal without preparing every dish from scratch.

For hosts who prefer to prepare the main course themselves, Busch’s is bringing back its guest-favorite homestyle side-dish bundles. Each bundle includes four 3-pound side dishes, serving 6 to 8 people, plus a seven-count holiday roll wreath. Available sides include mashed potatoes, whipped sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, apple almond stuffing, sage brush stuffing, scalloped potatoes and macaroni and cheese.

Busch’s also offers options for holiday breakfasts and gatherings throughout the season.

The Here Comes the Sun Tray features assorted sweet breads, muffins and breakfast pastries, while the Farmhouse Tray includes mini croissants, scones, biscuits, pimento cheese, jam and cinnamon butter.

Additional catering selections include freshly made sushi, roast beef tenderloin platters, meat and cheese platters, fresh crudités, fresh fruit, Mediterranean platters and shrimp samplers. A wide selection of beverages, including wines, champagne, premium spirits, locally made beers and nonalcoholic options, provides choices to complement holiday meals and celebrations.

Holiday catering orders can be placed at catering.buschs.com. Orders for Thanksgiving feasts must be placed by noon on Monday, Nov. 23; Christmas orders by noon on Monday, Dec. 21; and New Year’s Eve orders by Monday, Dec. 28. Busch’s will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, so pickup is the day before.
