Michigan Mom Biz Series

If you are a mom with a business or are looking to start a business from home, this Michigan Mom Biz series is for you.

As a work at home mom myself, I understand the frustrations and anxieties of running a home-based business.  Granted mine is very small.  I do virtual assistant work as well as business blogging.  No matter what, this is considered a business as I am bringing in some steady income.  Is it as much as I would like?  No.  It has been trying sometimes to stay focused and be “Persistent and Dedicated.”

Do I want to do better and succeed?  Absolutely!  I thought it would be great if we could all learn together and really put our right foot forward so to speak.

Let’s break down some concerns that you may have with your home business.  Keep in mind, these are also my concerns:

  • Social Media Management
  • Gaining followers, customers, clients, etc.
  • Marketing Methods
  • Financial Investments
  • Time Management

The next five weeks we will look at each concern throughout the series.  My goal in this series is not to only help you, but to help me as well.  I am hoping those of us with strengths in specific areas will tend to those who struggle.  If we put our heads together and relay information, who knows what we can achieve in the months ahead.

Starting this Wednesday, September 18th, we will take a look at how to utilize the social media and effectively!  This is something I have been trained on in the past few months and would like to share some of my knowledge with you.  I currently have an amazing mentor helping me to utilize Facebook and Twitter properly.  It has most definitely made a difference in my online presence.  I desire to stay persistent and dedicated in these efforts.  How about you?
