REVIEW: Make a Plate by MakIt

I received 3 MakIt Plates in exchange for this review.  All opinions expressed here are honest and my own.

During your elementary school days, did you ever draw a picture in art class and then had it turned into a plate? I remember doing this and thought it was the coolest thing ever.  I think mine is in storage somewhere, might need to dig that up!

Just recently, my girls received the awesome opportunity of getting their art work turned into a plate.  It was a fun memory for me.

Even though this blog is all about promoting mom businesses, I am also all for promoting any business that is fun for the kids or entire family.

Check out my girls creations:

All three girls had a blast.  It was stress free to complete.  The only thing you want to make sure of is that no smudges appear on the paper template.  However it appears when completed, will appear on the plate.  Thankfully they send washable markers and plenty of templates in case your child messes up.

My oldest daughter far right drew a Gymnastics scene.  My middle daughter drew a ballerina.  My youngest on the far left drew….well….one can only guess! LOL Love it!

How much does it cost?  It is $17.99 for one pre-paid kit.  You get:

  • 25 Paper Templates
  • Markers
  • 1 Pre-Paid Item

It does cost extra for additional plates:

2-3 Plates are $11.99 Each
4-9 Plates are $9.99 Each
10+ Plates are $6.99 Each

Price includes shipping on finished products!

MakIt also has photo projects as well!  Your kids can even share the spotlight with their favorite Disney character.  Just choose theme and submit picture to be included on plate.  Super cute!
