I received samples of Crispy Fruit to try with my family.  All opinions expressed here are honest and my own.

Does your family get the recommended amount of fruit every day?  Since my girls love fruit I don’t have to worry too much if they are getting the proper servings, however their tastes are changing and they become bored with the fruits we purchase for our household.  Granted, I try to mix it up with apples, bananas, oranges, etc.  They also love grapes and summer fruits like raspberries, watermelon, etc. What about something different for variety?

Crispy Fruit by Crispy Green might be a great alternative.

Crispy Fruit snacks are freeze-dried and are light and crunchy, which I find kids love.

What flavors did we try?

  • Apples
  • Tangerine
  • Asian Pear
  • Pineapple

Other flavors available include:

  • Bananas
  • Cantaloupe
  • Mangoes

Crispy Fruit by Crispy Green are very unique in taste since they are freeze dried.  They do taste like the natural fruit but sweet and crunchy.  I enjoyed all 4 flavors very much.  My girls liked the apples and pears, but claimed the tangerines and apples were too sour.  My hubby didn’t seem too impressed, but that’s okay. He’s not too crazy about “posh snacks” like this as he calls them. Ha!

I love that these snacks are healthy and act as a serving of fruit.  I think I would buy these for our snack cabinet.

My 7 year old made an interesting comment.  She said “These remind me of astronaut food.”  She remembers trying astronaut ice cream and it was packaged similarly.  I thought that was pretty clever.

Have you ever tried Crispy Fruit?  Would you ever try snacks like this with your family?  Feel free to share.
