These past couple of months I was sent three movies to watch with my family.  These  movies are a must-see as they are family-friendly and teach important lessons about life, love, and family.  I would say these DVD’s are good for ages 11 or 12 and up!

Movie #1

Are you ready for the next installment of When Calls the Heart inspired by Best Selling author Janette Oke?

When Calls the Heart Second Chances is about Elizabeth and Jack struggle to get back to where their relationship was before Billy Hamilton got between them, while, Elizabeth works to find a solution.

You will definitely want to start with the first installment so that you are not lost with this series.  It’s a must see!

Movie #2

A Long Way Off is “The Modern day Story of the Prodigal Son.”  It is by Prodigal Films, LLC.

This movie is about a farm boy Jake, who wants to get a taste of “big city” life.  When he finds himself with an inheritance, he makes bad decisions, etc.    Now on the run, he needs to truly discover who he is all the while trying to survive.

This movie offers great lessons for when life gets rough and tough.

Movie #3

Every Boy Needs a Hero by Advent Film Group,  is about a man with a broken relationship with his own family.  He  desires to earn back love and respect of his son.  Both father and son love baseball,  he forms a baseball team to reconnect boys and their fathers.  The community is forever changed with this act of kindness.

This is definitely an inspiring and must-see family film!
