Adrenaline {Movie Review}

I recently had the opportunity to review the recent winner of the International Christian Film Festival DVD, Adrenaline by Word Entertainment.

Here’s a Synopsis of the Movie- A drag racer’s life is turned upside-down after a near fatal car crash, leaving him paraplegic. Joseph Jenkins (Michael Rosander), thinks his life is over, but while in the hospital, he meets Elijah Salisbury (Gregory Alan Williams), who gives him a new perspective on life and helps get him back to living. When Jason returns home, an old friend of his father’s, Paul Sharpe (John Schneider) steps in and helps him back into a race car,and teaches him how to race all over again.

My Take on the Movie – I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the movie. Racing isn’t really my thing and I was a little worried about that, but the movie had plenty of “drive, adrenaline and speed” to keep you watching until the end. What everyone will take away from this movie is that adversity hits everyone some time in their life and God will continue to nudge his way to help you succeed.

Adrenaline was a good, clean, quality movie for the family. There were a few intense scenes as it wouldn’t be recommended for young children, but tweens and teens would enjoy this movie. It also only has a running time of 93 minutes, so it was just right in length to keep you interested.
