The initiative known as AMP in Central Park, was an estimated $500,000 project, signifying a strong dedication to the performing arts in Oakland County, and was funded primarily through private donations and grants.

The LaFontaine Family Amphitheater was made possible by the LaFontaine Family, the Rotary Club of Huron Valley, the Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Milford Downtown Development Authority and many others.
