FamilyFun magazine would like to invite you to “craft for a cause” this summer! In its June/July issue, FamilyFun and two great organizations – are coming together to invite readers to craft fun, homemade superhero capes for children living in shelters.
Why capes? Enchanted Makeovers founder, Terry Grahl, explains that it’s not just because they lend themselves to imaginative play, but also because they remind kids that they don’t have to wait for a superhero…they can be one! Hand-crafted capes show that someone truly does care, and the symbol instills empowerment and confidence in children who need it most. You can read more about the cause and issue feature here.
