How to Take a Road Trip with Young Kids

Do you have a baby or toddler and would still like to take road trips? I have totally been there and it is actually very doable. The trick first off, is to start with smaller road trips to see how he/she will handle time in the car.

Keep them comfortable: You really want your little one to be comfortable in their car or booster seat. Make sure they are dressed in comfy clothes. For some extra comfort, remove their shoes! Place them in a bag for when you need them for later.

Plan Stops: When planning your road trip, you will most definitely want to plan and map stops so everyone can get out and stretch. Infants will want to be held and have a change of scenery while toddlers will want to let some major energy out. Find rest stops where you will be able to do this.
