Milford High School Football Program Hosts the Mav Jam 5/25

WHAT: Members of the community are invited to gather in Milford Central Park for an evening of fun, food and live music during the Mav Jam, a local fundraiser benefiting the Milford High School football program. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward maintaining the quality and safety of the equipment, team building retreats and football camp.

The football program has partnered with Huron Valley State Bank, Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Milford Downtown Development Authority to host the event. Food, t-shirts and a 50/50 raffle will be available for purchase, while guests enjoy a free concert by WheelHouse. In addition to aiding the football program, 10 percent of proceeds from T-shirt sales will go toward C.S. MOTT Children’s Hospital and five percent toward extracurricular activities for underprivileged students in the school district.

EXPERIENCE: Fundraiser attendees will have the opportunity to:

· Enjoy a pep rally hosted by the Milford cheerleading team featuring a performance by Center Stage, the school’s music program.
· Snack on pulled pork, hot dogs, nachos, ice cream and beverages available for purchase.
· Kick off the summer concert season with a performance by WheelHouse at the LaFontaine Family Amphitheater.

WHEN: 5-10 p.m. Thursday, May 25
Concessions will open at 5 p.m. followed by a pep rally. Wheelhouse will take the stage from 7-10 p.m.

Main Street (between Huron and Liberty streets)
Milford, Michigan

WHY: The Milford football program strives to create an environment that promotes safety, hard work and valuable relationships among coaches and players. Proceeds raised at Mav Jam will assist players on the team in developing valuable life-long qualities which can be used on and off of the field.
