CodeSPARK Names #1 Kids Learning Travel App!

Apps can be super helpful on long road trips or plane rides to keep the kiddos entertained and engaged and to keep you sane! Common Sense Media just released its list of the best apps for holiday travel and codeSpark Academy, the leading research-backed computer science platform for kids 4-10 years old, was voted #1 for “low key learning” on the go.

codeSpark introduces the basic concepts of logic and looping in a fun game, and it’s great for kids who aren’t reading yet. Parents can include up to three profiles, so siblings can all use the app on their own.

Now through January 15th, codeSpark Academy is giving kids access to coding for free with the debut of the adorable Peanut’s-themed, Snoopy Snow Brawl. This multi-player coding game encourages young kids to use problem solving, strategy and algorithms in a snowball fight between Woodstock and his bird friends that Snoopy referees.

The app is free to download, but if you subscribe, kids can access new content every month.
