This hardcover LARGE book is utterly AMAZING….and it “showcases some of the most amazing creations ever made out of Lego bricks. These creations have been selected because they were made by some of the most talented artists and builders from around the world and reveal just how and why Lego bricks are an amazing art medium.”
My 7-year old was beyond amazed as I was and the rest of my family seeing the awesome creations..like…the Roman Colosseum, a playable Harpsichord, the USS Missouri and the Golden Gate Bridge to name a few. Each sculpture or art piece has detailed information about its background from its creator, who the creator is, the dimensions of the piece, how long it took to build, location and how many pieces. One piece….the Halifax Discovery Center Mosaic was pieced together with 303,232 pieces…AMAZING! Along with all the great info and descriptions are some pretty awesome color photos too.

About the Author
Nathan Sawaya is the first contemporary artist to take LEGO into the art world as a medium. His unique sculptures and the renowned touring international exhibition, “The Art of the Brick,” continue to inspire creativity as well as break attendance records globally. He is also the recipient of many awards and honors. In 2014, Nathan founded the Art Revolution Foundation, for the purpose of making art a priority in schools and homes. He as been a speaker at Google Zeitgeist, TEDx, Yahoo! and the Clinton Library. Nathan lives and works in New York City and Los Angeles.
