Clothes Shopping For Your Kids – This Is Genius {Guest Post}

My partner is a gadget addict and is always telling me about the latest and greatest new invention, the internet of things or some other new concept that will change our lives for the better.

Well although it keeps him happy, I find it just as easy to turn the lights on or off at the switch rather than using my smartphone. The internet is exciting I suppose, but I have never been that overly impressed with it other than the occasional read of Facebook. That was until I stumbled upon Kidbox, a new concept that has totally transformed my clothes shopping methods for my kids.

Subscription Boxes For Girls

Kidbox is a subscription service that enables time-starved parents to dress our children in fashionable clothes for a fraction of the cost. The company sells three different products a baby box, subscription boxes for girls, and subscription boxes for boys.

As the mother of a boy and a girl, we now take delivery of two boxes per subscription. To get everything up and running, and to give the fashion experts at Kidbox an idea of your fashion tastes, you need to complete a quick quiz, either on your own or if you are feeling brave in conjunction with your children.

The results of the quiz are used to determine the clothing items that go into your box. Our first subscription box for girls arrived exactly ten days after we placed the order and the clothes that we received amazed me. Not only did I love the items that had been chosen, but so did my daughter, and believe me that is nothing short of a miracle. All of the items have washed well, and she now tries to choose what clothes she wears every day. I may have helped to create my very own little diva!

Subscription Boxes For Boys

Stereotypically, before we discovered Kidbox, my son had very little interest in the clothes he wore. There were simply a means to an end, but that changed with Kidbox, and I think I know the reason why. It was all about the delivery process. When the first two boxes arrived, and my daughter was getting all excited about her box, his interest was piqued. It was a little like Christmas morning, and I think he didn’t want to be left out of all the excitement.

The subscription boxes for boys and girls for that matter cost $98 per box. Although this might sound an expensive purchase, the items contained in the box have an average value of about $248, so you are actually making a saving of around $150 per box, which isn’t too shabby.

The Final Feel Good Twist In The Tail

So let’s recap a little, you get quality clothes, delivered at a discounted price. You don’t have to spend hours walking around the shops with kids throwing temper tantrums, and anything you don’t like you can just return. Surely it can’t get better than this. Well actually it can, because for every Kidbox you buy, the company will donate a new outfit to a kid in need. And what’s more, you and your child can decide which organization, your outfit goes to. This will make a lot of difference to the families and children receiving the outfits, it doesn’t cost you anything extra, and it teaches your child about generosity and giving to others.

It might be going a little bit over the top to say that Kidbox has changed my life, but what I will say is that it has certainly drastically improved my kid’s wardrobes. And the feeling we as a family get from knowing that our purchases are helping other families is priceless. If you fancy trying an alternative and in my opinion a new and improved way of clothes shopping for your children, give Kidbox a try today. If you are anything like me you won’t regret it, and you might even love it.
