Michigan Mama’s Product Faves (Spring Edition 2022)
Happy spring! Well, here in Michigan, it’s been trying to feel like spring with some warmer days but we still fight those cold days including snow and ice. Hang in there, right? 😉

A cooling pillowcase? Yes! Sounds amazing, right? Especially as we approach the hot summer months. Now, this isn’t a magic pillow that just stays cool all the time, , it’s best to use it in the air conditioning or with a fan.
Even though I have still had the heat on with our colder temps outside, I noticed that the pillowcase does keep a cooler feel to the fabric. It’s made of special Japanese Q-Max >0.4 Arc-Chill Cooling Fibers. It absorbs the body heat and transfers it away from you as you sleep. Another perk? Your bedhead will be reduced every morning. You’ll have smoother frizz-free hair every morning. I’ll have to try this out myself as my hair is pretty frizzy in the mornings. 😉
My husband has been trying out the pillowcase and has noticed the difference. He gets hot easily at night even with the air conditioning running in the summer, so we are looking forward to him trying it out in the hotter months when we can turn on the air conditioning.
The material is perfect for all seasons and easy to wash. However, they do recommend you do not put the pillowcase into the dryer. Hang them dry and avoid direct contact with the sun.

Any vegan, organic, and non-GMO fans out there? While I’m not vegan, I do appreciate organic and non-GMO products for healthier snacking. I was definitely open to trying out Mary’s Gone Crackers!

The crackers’ protein is sourced from plants, they are non-GMO verified, they proudly support organic farmers, and more!
The crackers are indeed crunchy and toasty. If you are not used to products that are plant-based, etc., you may need to acquire a taste for a few of the flavors of crackers. I found that the Chipotle Real Thin Crackers were more of a challenge on my tastebuds but the other flavors were pretty tasty. I found them even more pleasant dipping some of them in hummus. I’m sure there are other healthy dips out there that would pair well with the crackers. My favorite is the Garlic Rosemary!
The crackers are also gluten free! You can also get creative and top the crackers with your favorite healthy toppings.
