Do your kids know how to cook?

Kids are never really “too young” to learn how to cook, whether they are watching you cook while sitting in the baby swing or pack ‘n play to becoming a preschooler and learning how to measure ingredients, pour, etc.

Ever since my girls were tiny, I exposed them to cooking in the kitchen so they would get a sense of the importance of cooking and eating healthy. My middle daughter became intrigued and has been cooking and baking ever since. Cooking is now a part of her chores a few times a week to help out. It’s been heaven and she actually LOVES it and volunteers to cook or bake.
