This year’s Winter Wonderland themed activation will run Thursday through Sunday nights starting at dusk from Friday, November 15 until Sunday, December 29. The one-mile long trail through the forest will blend technology with nature creating a magical hands-on adventure for guests of all ages. Visitors will encounter touch-sensitive light installations, motion-triggered displays, enchanted holiday sounds, interactive games, and a special twist – magic wands that let you unlock hidden surprises along the trail. Guests will become captivated as they venture into the forest and see the light display, that is Aurora. Glenlore Trails is located at 3860 Newtown Road in Commerce Township, MI 48382. Tickets are on sale now at www.GlenloreTrails.com  for this all-ages experience.

“Like the Aurora, this magical outdoor light experience is meant to brighten your holiday season, bringing families and friends together under a shimmering sky of brilliant lights. We hope the beauty and enchantment of this mile long stroll at Glenlore Trails fills your hearts with the holiday spirit, creating lasting memories and cherished traditions for everyone,” said Scott Schoeneberger, Co-Founder of Glenlore Trails and Managing Partner at Bluewater Technologies.

The creative force behind Glenlore Trails is Michigan based Bluewater Technologies,

one of the most trusted event staging and AV integrators in the country. For the last five years, Bluewater and their award-winning team have transformed the natural forest landscape into an immersive wonderland using interactive LED walls, projection mapping, synchronized audio systems, and responsive lighting. They implement technology that supports the narrative and theme of each seasonal activation, bringing life to the forest, fully immersing and captivating guests, and providing an unforgettable immersive night walk experience.

“Our goal is to make each trip more magical than the last,” stated Schoeneberger. Each year for both the Fall/Halloween and the Winter/Holiday activations there is a new theme. “The lighting, the scenes, the gameplay, all changes with each event. We are always moving and adding new elements that make the experience something that will not only bring you back but allow you to experience it in an entirely new way.”

Each night, starting at dusk,

the one-mile forest trail will come to life with a dazzling display of lights, sounds, and wonder. Glenlore Trails is an outdoor experience, that takes approximately one hour to complete and is set up along a one mile wooded, manicured (not paved) trail.
