Jeff Daniels, Purple Rose Theatre, and Born IN Detroit Collaboration for UofM and OSU Themed Merchandise

BORN IN DETROIT ™ PARTNERS WITH THE PURPLE ROSE THEATRE COMPANY TO SELL MERCHANDISE TO BENEFIT THE THEATRE!

A portion of proceeds from all hats sold during the run of the production, “My Mother and the Michigan/Ohio War”, support the theatre.

WHAT:

Michigan owned and operated Born IN Detroit Apparel, LLC has partnered with The Purple Rose Theatre Company in Chelsea, Michigan for an exclusive line of University of Michigan and Ohio State University hats, that will be sold during the upcoming run of My Mother and the Michigan/Ohio War.  A portion of the proceeds from all hats sold will benefit the theatre, which is a non-profit theatre founded by acclaimed actor and Chelsea native, Jeff Daniels, to empower artists and provide audiences with originals productions.

The hats are a perfect collectible from the play, a comedy that sees a recently widowed wife and mother call on her Wolverine daughter and Buckeye son to realize her late husband’s vision of a full-scale reenactment of the Michigan-Ohio War.

The officially licensed collegiate hats will offer a version for each University and will be available at the Purple Rose Theatre Company box office, while supplies last.  The University of Michigan version will feature the Block “M” in the classic Maize and Navy Blue color incorporated within BORN IN Detroit trademarked logo and the Ohio State University hat will feature the logo for the University incorporated within the BORN IN Ohio trademarked logo.
