RAINN WILSON to appear at MOTOR CITY COMIC CON and host special Q&A along with a movie screening of SUPER at EMAGINE NOVI

WHAT:

On Saturday, May 17^th, Rainn Wilson will be appearing at Motor City Comic Con (MC3), Michigan’s largest and longest running comic book and pop culture convention hosted at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. In addition, immediately following his convention appearance, he will be hosting a special screening movie event on the Super EMX screen of the 2010 movie, SUPER at Emagine Novi.

Rainn Wilson is best known for his comedic performances as Dwight Schrute in the TV sitcom The Office, in addition to several movies including Cooties, Juno, The Rocker, Super, and was the voice of Gallaxhar in Monsters vs. Aliens.

Rainn Wilson will be on-site at the Suburban Collection Showplace Saturday, May 17^th signing autographs, taking photos and meeting with Motor City Comic Con guests. Suburban Collection Showplace is located at 46100 Grand River Ave. in Novi, Michigan. Following his convention appearance, Rainn Wilson will host the SUPER Q&A panel followed by a free screening of the movie, at Emagine Novi. Emagine Novi is located at 44425 W. 12 Mile Road in Novi, Michigan.

7:45 p.m. – Rainn Wilson hosting Q&A Movie Event of SUPER at Emagine Novi.

TICKETS:

Tickets for the SUPER Q&A movie event with Rainn Wilson are $40. Admission to Motor City

Comic Con is not included in the movie ticketed event; however, it is required to attend as this is a special movie event opportunity that is available for MC3 guests. Tickets to attend Motor City Comic Con range depending on single day or weekend pass admissions.

ABOUT SUPER:

In the 2010 film Super, Frank Darbo, played by Rainn Wilson, transforms himself into a DIY Superhero Crimson Bolt, after his wife falls under the influence of a drug dealer. Crimson Bolt exudes the best of intentions but lacks heroic skills. The film, which is rated R, also stars Elliot Page and Liv Tyler.

Rainn Wilson will be joining other celebrity guests at the Suburban Collection Showplace including many television and movie stars like Bradley Whitford and Martin Sheen from The West Wing, Malin Akerman from Watchmen, Seth Gabel from Fringe, Christina Ricci and Devon Sawa from Casper, Laura Prepon from That 70’s Show, and Vincent D’Onofrio from Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Rainn’s co-star from The Office, Angela Kinsey and many more celebrity guests during the convention.
