New home retail concept open doors to the public on Friday, June 6, with community activations planned all weekend (June 6-8).

WHAT:

Gardner White, Michigan’s #1 furniture and mattress retailer, is excited to unveil GW HOME—a bold, new retail concept—on Thursday, June 5, at 4 p.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1201 Woodward Avenue in the heart of Downtown Detroit.

The grand opening weekend celebration continues as GW HOME officially opens its doors to the public on Friday, June 6, at 10 a.m.

GW HOME is Detroit’s first-of-its-kind home retail destination, inspired by the city’s vibrant creative community. The store reimagines home shopping by blending artistry with affordable luxury, featuring a thoughtfully curated selection of stylish furniture, décor, artwork, and accessories.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held outdoors under GW HOME’s signature awning which will feature a striking art installation by renowned local artist Aaron Deshields.

Sunday, June 8 (1-3 p.m.)

Crypton Fabric, high-performance textile leader, will be giving product demonstrations, and creating custom crypton tote and makeup bags for guests.
