A new analysis has determined the top-value Six Flags destination, naming Six Flags Great Escape as the best theme park and Hurricane Harbor Splashtown as the best water park.
The research, conducted by QR Code Generator,
analyzed different factors to determine the best value Six Flags Park on a scale of 100. Criteria included ticket price, operating hours, number of attractions and shows, food and parking costs, park size, crowd levels, and wait times for popular rides.
Six Flags Great Escape is this summer’s top-rated theme park for families and thrill-seekers alike, boasting a value score of 63.23. This 351-acre park in Queensbury, New York, offers eight hours of daily fun. While parking costs $35, visitors will find the cheapest cheeseburger meal plan out of all Six Flags parks, priced at $20.99. For a $69.99 gate admission fee, guests will experience 48 attractions, with over ten shows and character meet-and-greets. Despite average August crowd levels of 39%, the park’s most popular attraction, the Swan Boats, often requires a 53-minute wait.
La Ronde in Montréal, Quebec,
claims the second spot for best value with a score of 60.69. This 146-acre park offers exceptional value, with 10.5-hour operating days and a $49.99 admission fee. Despite its size, La Ronde provides 36 attractions and enjoys relatively low August crowds of 36%.
Six Flags Over Georgia in Austell, Georgia, placed third in the value rankings with a score of 59.32. For a $79.99 admission fee, it operates nine hours daily and includes six shows and character meet-and-greets. Also offering 45 attractions, the park’s most popular ride, Dare Devil Dive, typically has a wait time of under 20 minutes.
Six Flags Darien Lake in Corfu, New York, placed fourth with a score of 56.57. The park’s most popular ride, Ride of Steel, has an average wait time of 36 minutes.
Six Flags Fiesta Texas has a score of 55.61. Fans of the Poltergeist ride will wait an average of 34 minutes to experience the high-speed haunted roller coaster.
Six Flags New England in Agawam, Massachusetts, has a score of 52.61. The park is open nine hours a day and has an average 25-minute wait time to ride Thunderbolt.
Six Flags America in Bowie, Maryland, placed seventh with a score of 52.35. The park’s most popular ride, Firebird, only has a 15-minute wait time.
Six Flags Over Texas comes in at eighth with a score of 51.26. The park is open eight hours a day and the average meal costs $21.99.
Frontier City in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma scored 49.28. The park’s most popular ride, Renegade Rapids, only has a 19-minute wait time.
Six Flags St. Louis rounded out the top 10 with a score of 47.85. The gate price is $69.99 and the average meal price is $20.99.

secured the top spot for best value water park with a score of 72.95. The 48-acre park offers eight hours of water fun with 18 attractions. Visitors can enjoy relatively affordable options, with $20 parking, a $59.99 admission fee, and the cheapest cheeseburger meal among all water parks at $19.98.
Six Flags White Water in Marietta, Georgia, achieved a value score of 61.09. As the largest water park in the ranking at 69 acres, it also offers the most water attractions with 21. Operating for eight hours daily, the park charges a $64.99 admission fee, an additional $30 for parking, and $22.49 for a cheeseburger meal.
Hurricane Harbor Phoenix in Glendale, Arizona, secured the third spot for best value water park with a score of 55.37. The park offers 15 attractions and is open for 8.5 hours daily. Visitors can expect to pay $25 for parking, a $59.99 admission fee, and $22.99 for a cheeseburger meal.
Hurricane Harbor Rockford follows in fourth place with a value score of 53.27. Next in the rankings are Hurricane Harbor Arlington at 43.49, Hurricane Harbor Chicago at 41.10, Hurricane Harbor OKC at 38.35, Hurricane Harbor Los Angeles at 32.09, Hurricane Harbor Concord at 22.99, and finally, Hurricane Harbor New Jersey at 19.73.
