Many people would like to deal with their pain and take their health to the next level, but they don’t always know how. They have a rough idea of what they should be doing, but can’t execute it in the way they’d like.

That’s where this post comes in handy. It explores some of the forgotten tactics that a lot of people don’t know and how to use them to improve health quickly and relatively easily while also managing pain.

Butt Sunning

Butt sunning might sound a little strange, but a lot of people claim that it works wonders. It’s related to ideas in the Dao and can raise vitamin  D3 safely, which is helpful during the winter.

Just make sure you do it somewhere isolated and private. Use it to energize your vital function and reduce pain overall by enhancing your calmness.

This practice was hardly known for centuries, especially in the West. However, it really started to go viral in 2020, just as the pandemic was taking off.

Put a Raw Potato On An Arthritic Joint

If you have arthritis, you could also try putting a potato poultice on it and see if that has any beneficial effects for you. It works by reducing inflammation in the target site and helping the elbow or the knee to feel normal again.

European peasants once used this remedy frequently before the advent of modern medicine. It’s safe, effective, and something worth trying if you’re in the mood for it.

Walk On Grass Barefoot

Another thing you might want to try is walking on grass barefoot. Again, it’s the sort of activity that can shift how you feel and perceive the world.

The scientific reason it works has to do with your posterior chain. It activates the entire rear of the body and can be a good way to manage back pain if that’s something that affects you daily.

However, many people believe that simply walking in contact with the Earth is beneficial and changes your mood. Suddenly, you feel more alive and better able to deal with the challenges of the day.

Interestingly, many great powers, like the Russians and Chinese, have experimented with their approaches for healing and wellness. These countries value an agile, healthy workforce and military.

Magnesium Water

You could also look into whether magnesium water is an option for you. Many people live chronically underfed on this nutrient because they aren’t eating sufficient vegetables. However, you can add it to water, and it will raise the amount of magnesium available to cells significantly, more than pills.

The other option is to simply eat a big salad with vegetables and whole grains for breakfast and lunch. This combination will usually improve magnesium status in the vast majority of people. It could also be a good way to deal with fibromyalgia.

Beef Organ Supplement

Another option is to try beef organ supplements if you’re in the mood for them. These concentrate the benefits of offal without having to prepare it in the first place.

Many people living with chronic pain swear by these supplements. There’s some evidence that they contain natural opioids alongside vitamins and minerals.

You don’t need much desiccated material, either. A little under 10 grams is often sufficient for most people and will usually generate the desired effects quickly.

Inverted Posture

Another thing you’ll want to try is to invert your posture. The best way to do this is to put your legs up against the wall and hold it for a few minutes daily.

This approach works because it resets baroreceptors in the body. It’s also a good way to reduce systemic inflammation, which is why it’s been practiced by yogis for thousands of years.

Many people find this approach works better than compression socks. It reduces swelling sometimes found in the lower ankles and prepares the body for action.

Ghee And Black Pepper On An Empty Stomach

You could also look into trying a combination of ghee and black pepper on an empty stomach. The piperine in pepper switches on specific channels and anti-inflammatory pathways in the body, beating out the effect of traditional non-steroidal anti-inflammatories.

If you want to make the concoction even more anti-inflammatory, add turmeric. The yellow spice is often combined with ghee and black pepper in Indian cooking.

Chiropractic Adjustment

Another option is to consider a chiropractic adjustment. Getting your back and spine put into alignment, along with other joints, can be extremely powerful and is something that is well worth exploring if you have posture or pain issues.

The Keystone Specific Chiropractic Center says most people need several sessions. It’s not just about “clicking” your back into place. It’s about retraining and redefining the muscles to stay strong and upright.

Walking Backwards

It might sound a little strange, but walking backwards is another powerful thing you can do to reduce pain. Again, it works by activating and strengthening the posterior chain. Many people find that it reactivates their proprioception and changes how their knees feel while walking, improving their overall health and wellbeing.

This process takes about four to six weeks to complete. But once it’s done, that’s it, and many people find that they feel so much better.

DMSO And Castor Oil

DMSO is banned in a lot of locations but can be highly effective for treating pain when combined with castor oil. A lot of people rub solutions on painful areas and then track their progress to see how much better they feel. One of the great things about this substance is how deeply it penetrates the body. Many people find that it can destroy their scar tissue and give them back their lives while reducing inflammation.

So there you have it: some of the forgotten tactics you can use to reclaim your health and reduce your pain. Try a couple at a time to see what works for you, and what you want to do long-term. If you find something isn’t working for you, just move on to the next option.
