Pirates & Pups | Aug. 22 & 23
Dog demonstrations, wiener dog races, pet vendor/rescues, pet & pirate costume contest, and tattoo competition (black & gray and color categories).
Highland Fling | Aug. 29 & 30
Highland heavy game championship, persons in kilts competition, Scottish vendors, Scottish dancers, and pipe & drum band.
Viking Invasion | Sept. 5, 6 & 7
Viking encampment demos, viking costume contest, beard competition, tattoo competition (black & gray and color categories), axe throwing championships, and knights on bikes.
Wonders of the World | Sept. 12 & 13
World marketplace, belly dancing championship, steampunk and sci-fi costume contests.
Shamrocks & Shenanigans | Sept. 19 & 20Irish heavy game championship, persons in kilts, Irish vendors, Irish dancers, and pipe and drum band.
Harvest Huzzah | Sept. 26 & 27
Harvest market, BBQ festival and competition, archery championships, deaf awareness weekend, cottagecore, fairies and witches costume contest.
Festival Friday | Oct. 2
Military and first responders all get a free ticket with valid ID, ladies and lourdes shopping day, and school days.
Sweet Endings | Oct. 3 & 4
Chocolate samples, wine tasting, sweets festival, couples pie eating contest, and HEMA tournament.
Daily Royal Events
Feast of Fantasy, Pub Crawl, King’s Happy Hour, Royal Tryst in the Tower, Mead Tasting in Heiðrún’s Hall, The Quest, Sky Hunters Birds of Prey, Joust Brunch, Cocktail Crawl, Hawk Walk, and Ales & Artistry.

Heiðrún’s Hall (formerly Crystal Palace)
Step into an all-new Viking-inspired hall and experience the ancient tradition of mead tasting in a lively Norse setting. Inspired by Heidrun, the mythical goat of Valhalla, guests can sip, savor, and celebrate like true Vikings.
Wizard Wand Workshop
Young witches and wizards can create and customize their own magical wand in this enchanting, hands-on experience. It’s the perfect place to spark imagination and begin a magical adventure at the festival.
Race for the Crown
Kick off your festival day before the gates open! Choose a 5K or 1-Mile Medieval Mile through the festival. Whether you’re racing for a personal best or a fun-filled experience, this one-of-a-kind event brings magic to every step.
