The Nurse-Sling by Honey-Bee {Mama Review}

Mama Brianne received a sample of Nurse-Sling by Honey-Bee ($39.98 value) to try out and review for Michigan Mama News. Any opinions expressed here are honest and her own.

As parents of a newborn, you discover soon enough the must-have items you’ve invested in become obsolete as your child continues to grow.

Humble-Bee is changing this concept

offering baby accessories that offer value beyond their assistance with parenting duties.

The maker of the Nurse-sling, this patent-pending supporter for feeding time reimagines the crescent shape standard nursing pillow. Designed to be lightweight and easily portable, it offers an additional purpose later on as it converts into a bag for years to come.

Mama Review:

My name is Brianna and I am a stay at home mom to a four-month-old little boy and a two-year-old little girl. I have been with my husband going on eleven years now and we have a small hobby farm at our home, so as you can imagine my hands are always full.

With my firstborn daughter, I didn’t have a very successful breastfeeding journey, so for my second child, I was determined to make it work.

I was incredibly grateful to have been chosen to review the Nurse-Sling made by Humble Bee. since being a mom to two children, I find my hands are always tied. Having the nurse-sling just made daily life a little bit easier.

Nurse-Sling

Right off the bat, I was impressed.

The instructions were very clear and I loved that they were part of the box itself so there wasn’t any extra paper coming out of the box with the sling. At first glance, I could tell that this was something I was going to really enjoy.

It felt durable and was appeasing to the eye.

My first time using the sling was a little tricky but I got the hang of it almost immediately. The product was surprisingly comfortable for both myself and my baby, making it so I wasn’t slouched over all the time while nursing. I wasn’t expecting this product to be something that I would use often, but it ended up being helpful in my everyday life.

There were multiple things I loved about the product,

one is how lightweight it is. Baby items these days aren’t always light and functional. The fact that I have a product I can use to help nurse my baby AND hold my own personal belongings is awesome.

I never have to worry about carrying my purse or wallet anymore.

Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, I have been unable to use the sling out in public like I normally would have, but I’m looking forward to when I will be able to use it to hold my phone, I.D. and other various small things I would need to carry with me.

Not only is it all of those things, but it’s also comfortable. I never felt like this product was weighing me down or hurting my shoulders. Overall, I would recommend this product to moms everywhere.

All of us at Michigan Mama News would like to thank the folks over at Humble-Bee for giving Brianna this product to try and review for herself and for our readers. This product looks amazing!

About Humble-Bee: According to Humble-Bee’s founders, the name is inspired by the humbling feeling of awe and wonder that comes when you’re staring out at crashing waves of the vast ocean, hiking along a trail listening to the birds sing, or feeling the warmth of the sun on your back as you take a walk through the park.

As millennial parents who live an outdoor, active lifestyle and want their children to experience the same adventures, they’ve created a line of bags and accessories, with thoughtful design and quality craftsmanship that will easily trek alongside traveling, hiking, running errands, spending a day at the beach, gathering with friends, or exploring your own backyard.
