5 Summer Recipe Favorites

These past few days have most definitely felt like summer, YAY!  It is by far one of my favorite seasons.  As I lounged in the summer heat today while watching my sweet girls play in the spray park, I was thinking up some fun summer recipes.  From desserts to entrees, there are so many great recipes out there, especially if you don’t have to use the oven!

I dug up 5 summer recipes and a couple I am looking forward to giving a try.  Here they are in random order:

5 Favorite Summer Recipes

  1. Cucumber and Winter Purslane Yogurt Salad
  2. Rotini with Cheesy Zucchini
  3. Sweet and Tangy Melon Slaw
  4. Nectarine Cream Cheese Tartlets
  5. Yogurt Cake with Blueberry Sauce

I am aching to try the Nectarine Cream Cheese Tarts and the Sweet and Tangy Melon Slaw.  They sound beyond delish.  I recently just started using thedailygreen.com.  They have awesome recipes on there that happen to be a hit with the family, especially the kids!  If you click the recipe links above you will see that all of the mentioned recipes are from thedailygreen.com.  Enjoy!

What are some of your favorite summer recipes?  Please feel free to share your summer favorites with us in the comment box below the post!  I can’t wait to read them!
