The Confession a Film by Michael Landon Jr. Movie Review

Michigan moms, are you constantly searching for wholesome family movies?  I was just recently presented with a movie titled; The Confession.  It is originally from New York Times Best Selling Author; Beverly Lewis.  It is a film by Michael Landon Jr.

The Confession is definitely an inspiring and beautiful movie to watch, but keep a box of tissues handy.  Even my 10 year old daughter loved this movie as well. Her little eyes welled up with tears. So touching!  Here is a brief summary of the film; The Confession.

“Katie Lapp was given up for adoption to an Amish family when she was born.  She always felt that she had another calling in life.  Along with this feeling, she set out to find her birth-mother “Laura Mayfield-Bennett.”  This quest alone drew her into the world of “Englishers.”  Along the way, two men in her life try to help her overcome a devious scheme to steal her inheritance.  A kind hearted-man,  Justin Wirth, reaches out to Katie and discovers her secrets. But her childhood sweetheart, Daniel Fisher sacrifices happiness to be with her.  In the end, Katie’s heart is divided between two worlds as love reveals the truth.”

Honestly, it is hard for me not to share the entire film with you here on the blog.  I would hate to spoil it for you in case you find yourself viewing the film in its entirety.  The ending left you wondering what was going to happen next.  Makes me wonder if there is going to be a “The Confession 2.”  That would actually be pretty cool to see the next chapter of Katie Lapp’s life after leaving her Amish ways and overcoming obstacles.
