Carrington Farms Products: All Good April {Review}

I received 3 Carrington Farms products in exchange for this post.  All opinions expressed here are honest and my own.

If you are on a quest for a healthier lifestyle with healthier food choices, check out Carrington Farms.  They offer “Healthy Foods for a Healthy Soul.”

As an Ambassador for Carrington Farms for the month of April, I received 3 of their products to try with my family:

  • Coconut Cooking Oil
  • Organic Milled Flax Seeds
  • Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (Pure, Unrefined, and Cold-Pressed)

Coconut Cooking Oil

I absolutely love this product.  It’s liquid cooking oil and the first of its kind.  It’s definitely a healthy alternative to traditional cooking oils such as vegetable oil, canola oil, etc.  It does contain all of the important health benefits of coconut oil, but you don’t have to worry about the odor or flavor of coconuts.  I love that it remains in liquid form.  Want to burn more calories?  The “Medium Chain Triglycerides” aids in this process.

Coconut cooking oil (liquid form) is all natural and gluten-free.  It’s perfect for cooking, baking, and sautéing.

100% Organic Extra Virgin Cooking Oil

Coconut Oil 12 oz

Want to avoid cooking with butter?  This is a much greater health alternative and comes in the pressed form.  It keeps its original nutritional content when in this form.

Not only is it beneficial for cooking, it’s great for skin care, hair care, diet and exercise, and more.  It’s truly an amazing natural source.

Organic Milled Flax Seeds

Milled Flax 14 oz

Flax seeds are an amazing source of Omega 3 and 6 as well as fiber and lignans.  You can easily sprinkle it on yogurt, cereals, salads, smoothies, oatmeal, and other finished foods.  I sprinkle it in my kids’ finished foods and they don’t even notice.  It has a very light flavor and tastes pretty good, but it doesn’t overpower the flavors of your favorite foods such as cereal and yogurt.  If you put the suggested serving size, you are good to go.

On my quest for healthier eating not only for me, but for my family as well, I will be using these products regularly.  My girls use coconut oil daily for dry skin and chapped lips.  It’s just so amazing.  It’s definitely a part of our daily lives.  Now I plan on cooking with it more often as well.

I absolutely love these products and already feel healthier since trying them out.  It’s definitely a good start to healthier eating and living.

Do you utilize coconut cooking oil and/or flax seeds in your family?  If not, would you consider making the switch to better your overall health?  Feel free to share your thoughts with us.
