It’s jam making time and the strawberries are PERFECT right now! If you are like me and LOVE strawberry jam, but don’t have a lot of time…..here’s the recipe for you. A friend shared it with me awhile back. I only wish all jam was this easy to make. It’s SO easy that your kids can make it too!

Strawberry Freezer Jam

2 lbs fresh strawberries with stems removed
1 1/3 cups of sugar
4 tbs Ball Real Fruit Instant Pectin

Wash, stem and mash strawberries to your liking. (I like it a little chunky.)

In a separate bowl, stir sugar and pectin together. Slowly add fruit and whisk together for 3 minutes until all ingredients are mixed thoroughly.

Pour jam mixture in to freezable containers making sure to leave at least ½ inch space from lid to allow freezer expand. Let jam set 30 minutes before freezing.

Recipe makes approximately 8 cups of jam.
