I received a copy of Totally Washi: 45 Super Cute Washi Tape Crafts for kids (book) in exchange for this post. All opinions expressed here are honest and my own.
Have you heard of Washi Tape?
Definition: Washi Tape- It’s a specialty tape that’s made from washi paper, a handmade all-natural Japanese paper.
It reminds me of colorful masking tape and comes in a variety of colors and patterns. I was hoping the book came with sample washi tape, but unfortunately it did not. That’s okay. You can purchase it at any craft and hobby shop etc.

The washi tape craft book offers amazing colorful photos with step-by-step instructions. Unfortunately, since time got away from us, we were unable to get to the store to pick up our washi tape to start creating, but we are looking forward to the opportunity real soon. My girls love the ideas and have been looking through the book choosing what they would like to create. I’m thinking we may utilize this book for homemade Christmas cards. I think that will be fun.
Like I previously mentioned, I believe you can purchase washi tape at most craft and hobby shops. They also sell it on Amazon. Prices vary based on what you want (designs) and quantity.
Do you create with washi tape? Feel free to share your ideas and experiences with us!
