Hot Chocolate Recipes for Kids

 

Hot chocolate
With the winter cold, comes warm and delicious hot chocolate.  Want to take the traditional hot chocolate or cocoa up a notch?  Here are some fun recipes you and your kiddies can make together.  Maybe make it a fun hot chocolate tasting party. I recently came across a pretty nifty hot chocolate recipe chart.  Here are just a few of those recipes to give you an idea:
Peppermint Hot Chocolate
1 Cup Whole Milk
1/2 Cup of Chocolate Chips
1 TSP. Peppermint Extract
Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate
1 Cup Skim Milk
1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
4 oz. Milk Chocolate Chopped
1/4 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
