Is it like pulling teeth just to get your child to eat anything healthy, including snacks?  There are  snack ideas out there that are not only pleasing, but yes, healthy.   Want a sure-fire way to get your child to eat their snack?  Involve them in the kitchen.  If you provide the ingredients, let them go to town and create something exciting.  They will want to eat their yummy snack creations.   Here are 5 snack ideas to get you started:

1.  Cheese Broccoli Tree Bites – Your kids will love this one and they might feel like a giant eating their trees.  All you need is broccoli sliced to look like mini trees, your preferred cheese for melting and a small melting bowl.  Steam or boil the broccoli bites.  Melt cheese to desired consistency.  Grab the stem and dip.  Delicious!  It’s also a great way to get your child to eat green vegetables.

2. Fun shape mini sandwiches.
