Milford Sidewalks Attract Summer Shoppers July 7-8th

 

Highly anticipated Sidewalk Sales return to Milford’s downtown, July 7-8

WHAT: Nothing says summer like shopping in the sunshine! That’s why Milford is hosting its annual Sidewalk Sales, attracting both longtime residents and out-of-town guests to visit its friendly downtown area for two days of amazing deals and fun in the Village, July 7-8. Last year over 24 local businesses participated in the community event, offering special discounts of up to 75 percent off retail prices, delicious treats from the downtown eateries and fun for everyone. This year organizers promise even more excitement!  

EXPERIENCE: Sidewalk Sales are guaranteed to bring fun for the entire family. Attendees can expect:

· Streets packed with discounted merchandise from nearly 30 downtown boutiques and businesses and more than 20 outside vendors.

· Delicious specials and patio dining at Milford’s Main Street restaurants.

WHEN:  10 a.m.to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, July 7-8

WHERE: Main and Commerce streets

RETAIL: Milford Sidewalk Sales will include various downtown boutiques, outdoor vendors and local artists offering unique gifts, apparel, jewelry, art, children’s toys, home items and more. DINING: Visitors are invited to refuel with a delicious meal and cold drink at local Milford restaurants, including Coratti’s on Main, Burger Joint, Main Street Grill and Tavern, Gravity, Milford House, Palate, Smoke Street and Village Bar and Kitchen among others.  

PARKING: Convenient parking is located on Main Street and in three parking lots, located off of Main Street on the east and west sides of the street. Visitors may also use the Parkmobile mobile application to streamline payment for the existing parking meters along Main Street, as well as the new parking lot on the corner of Main Street and West Commerce Road (the former gas station site).
