It allows you to see the true beauty of your country! A great benefit of this type of road trip is that there are many free campgrounds throughout the U.S. that you will want to take advantage of. States including Michigan, New Mexico. Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming offer free camping areas.
