When you think of S’mores, you may think of outdoors with cozy campfires. This is the classic way to experience this yummy treat. What if you get a craving and just aren’t near a campfire? I’ve been guilty of making s’mores over the stove because hey, why not? 😉

My Review

The verdict? They are pretty yummy and are almost as good as toasting them over an open flame. The only thing is it seemed to take a little extra effort just to get the chocolate to melt into chocolatey goodness with the marshmallow. It only takes a few seconds (depending on your microwave), to melt the marshmallows effectively. If you keep it in too long you might burn it or it turns to a very rubbery texture. This pic below was the first it melted at a good temperature. We probably should have kept it in about 2 seconds longer:

Once smashed together, the chocolate did start melting outward into the melted marshmallow as seen below. After the heat really pressed into the marshmallow, chocolate, and crackers, it was then the magic began.

You can even try these S’more kits over a traditional campfire. I bet it would make for an even more awesome treat! But, if you have a craving for a s’more and aren’t around a campfire, here you go! It’s the next best thing.
