A ‘glow-up’ is contemporary internet slang for becoming sharper, more refined, more put-together, and looking and feeling better. Someone might be considered to have ‘glown up’ if they lose weight healthily, or they find their natural confidence, or if they update their wardrobe.
But a ‘glow-up’ can also refer to someone taking time out of their schedule to restore who they were after a tough period of life. It seems as though this topic isn’t being discussed as much as it was, but post-pandemic life is important to consider, especially after a year of lockdown.
It’s okay to admit that the past year and a half has had an effect on your general sense of wellbeing because it really might have. But how can you focus on restoring yourself, and totally becoming your best self once more? How can you apply a little self-care and maintenance to make sure you’re firing on all cylinders?

The secret isn’t to wear ‘the perfect outfit’ or to have perfect skin, but rather, maintaining this can finding a schedule, apparel, and sustaining products that work for you can be tremendously helpful and can keep you feeling like you can walk with a little bit of attitude and self-confidence.
Caring for yourself implicitly states that you are worth taking care of, which helps provide the foundational sense of self-worth necessary to ‘glow up’ well.
