Holiday Activations Take Place Now – December 24, 2025!

WHAT:               

The Village of Rochester Hills, invites the community to experience a magical and memory-filled holiday season at its vibrant outdoor shopping and dining destination.  The 375,000 square-foot open-air center will shimmer under more than 800,000 dazzling-colored lights, setting the stage for an array of festive, family-friendly holiday activations – including FREE visits with Santa and his Reindeer, warm donuts, freshly roasted chestnuts, and the nostalgic sounds of strolling carolers.

Guests are encouraged to make the Village of Rochester Hills their one-stop destination this holiday season. With over 50 unique and sought-after retailers, including Von Maur, American Eagle, Dry Goods, Evereve, Pandora Jewelry, Barnes & Nobles, and Woodhouse Day Spa there is truly something for every person on your shopping list. The Village also features an enhanced and unique culinary selection of restaurants like The Jackson, P.F. Chang’s, Pokeworks, and Mitchell’s Seafood House, all offering cozy dine-in atmospheres and convenient carryout options perfect for holiday shoppers and gatherings.

FREE SANTA VISITS

Guests are welcome to visit with Santa outside in his beautiful and cozy Santa’s Snug, located in Festival Park. Guests can visit with Santa for FREE and take photos with him before or after dropping off their Christmas wish lists. The Village of Rochester Hills’ Magical Mailbox will be set up outside Santa’s Snug and will deliver letters directly to the North Pole.

Santa will make weekly appearances through Christmas Eve.  All visits with Santa will be Free and are available by walk-up only meetings during Santa’s Hours November 28 – December 24, 2025. A full schedule of dates and times will be available online at www.TheVORH.com. Guests should plan to bring their own camera as photographers will not be provided.

Guests should bring their cameras when they meet Santa’s Reindeer select weekends* this holiday season. During these Free visits, you will enjoy Santa’s majestic animals up close as you create unforgettable holiday memories with the ones you love.

Visits with Santa’s Reindeer will take place in Festival Park next to Santa’s Snug.

*Visits with Santa’s Reindeer will be weather dependent.

LITTLE DONUT TRUCK – Sweet Treats for Holiday Shoppers

The Little Donut Truck will be set up near Festival Park, outside of Lululemon, offering warm, fresh mini donuts to holiday shoppers on select dates throughout the season. Guests can purchase donuts directly from the truck, and as a special holiday perk, shoppers who present $200 in same-day purchases from any of the Village of Rochester Hills retailers will receive a FREE six-pack of mini donuts*. This sweet reward is a special thanks to guests for supporting local businesses during the holidays.

*One free mini donut pack per visit. Receipts must be shown at the time of purchase and include day-of purchases totaling $200 from retailers at the Village of Rochester Hills. This offer excludes purchases made at Whole Foods and any of the Village restaurants.

Bringing the timeless charm of the season to life, LeFever Chestnuts will be roasting chestnuts in Festival Park. Guests will be greeted with the inviting scent of freshly roasted chestnuts and treated to complimentary* sample bags as they stroll the Village. The nostalgic holiday tradition provides a warm, flavorful moment reminiscent of Christmas markets around the world. *Free bags of roasted chestnuts will be available while supplies last.

STROLLING CAROLERS – Festival Music Throughout the Village

Good Tidings Carolers will be strolling around the Village spreading holiday cheer while singing some of the most beloved songs of the season. Dressed in classic holiday attire, the carolers will roam the center performing cherished Christmas melodies that create an atmosphere of warmth, joy, and timeless holiday magic.
