Gardner White, Henry Ford Health and American Heart Association Partner to Bring Free CPR & AED Training to Metro Detroit – February 11 & 17

CPR + AED training sessions open to the public on Wednesday, February 11 at GW HOME in downtown Detroit and on Tuesday, February 17 at the Gardner White’s Rochester store.

WHAT:

In recognition of American Heart Month, Gardner White, Henry Ford Health and the American Heart Association are teaming up to offer free, hands-only CPR (HOCPR) and AED training sessions, equipping the community with skills that can help save lives. The 30-minute sessions are open to the public and will take place on Wednesday, February 11 at GW HOME in downtown Detroit and Tuesday, February 17 at the Gardner White Rochester store. The trainings are offered in 30-minute sessions, and advance registration for a specific time slot is encouraged here.

Led by Henry Ford Health CPR-certified trainers, attendees will learn how to properly administer “Hand-Only” CPR techniques and demonstrate the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), critical skills that can make a lifesaving difference in an emergency. Any registered attendee older than 12 years of age can participate.

 WHO: 

Gardner White, Michigan’s #1 furniture and mattress retailer, is teaming up with Henry Ford Health and the American Heart Association to provide free lifesaving CPR and AED training sessions to the community.

WHEN & WHERE:

Training is offered in consecutive 30-minute sessions during the times listed below. Advance registration for a specific time slot is encouraged.
