Pinot’s Palette® to Host National Fundraiser Sept. 30-Rochester Hills
Pinot’s Palette®, the first international franchisor of pain and sip studios in North America, will join the fight against childhood cancer by hosting a national fundraising event on Wed., Sept. 30, benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and during the company-wide Painting It Forward event, Pinot’s Palette studios across the United States will donate $15 per seat reservation to St. Jude. As St. Jude encourages supporters to “Show YourGold” for the cause, Pinot’s Palette franchisees will use the #ShowYourGold hashtag to promote the event across the franchise network in hopes of setting an all-time fundraising record for the chain.
St. Jude was selected as the recipient of this year’s Paint It Forward campaign because of the hospital’s success in finding ways to improve the survival rate of its young patients. This year, nearly 16,000 children in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer and one in five won’t survive. Meanwhile, treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent since the hospital opened in 1962.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Unlike other hospitals, the majority of funding for St. Jude comes from individual contributions. Thanks to generous donors, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
“It’s an incredible honor to take the success of our business and the reach of our expanding Pinot’s Palette network and show our generosity for this great cause,” said Charles Willis, Co-Founder and President of Pinot’s Palette. “We want a nationwide day of paint-and-sip enjoyment to make a lasting difference by giving more children hope that they can overcome this dreaded disease and go on to enjoy their childhood and lead a long, fulfilling life.”
Pinot’s Palette-Rochester Hills will also be working with the “Michigan State Council of Epsilon Sigma Alpha and members from different chapters. They will be providing several items for raffle – proceeds to benefit St Jude. To book a reservation, visit www.PinotsPalette.com/Rochesterhills.com. Or call 248-299-3777
