BodyArmor for My 12-Year-Old Athlete!
I received a case of BodyArmor Super Drinks in exchange for this post. All opinions expressed here honest and my own.
Back in May, I received the opportunity of reviewing BodyArmor SuperDrink. My 12-year-old daughter is very active in tumbling and gymnastics, I was always looking for healthier alternative sports drinks. Guess what? Yep, still loving it! She loves it too!
BodyArmor is natural, contains electrolytes from Potassium, coconut water, and vitamins! It’s a perfect blend for active and athletic boys and girls. And yes, even active adults!
It brings me peace of mind knowing that my daughter isn’t consuming strange ingredients on a weekly basis. I have always been concerned that many of those sports drinks out there are doing more harm than good. Thankfully, BodyArmor is just full of healthy benefits and tastes fantastic too!
My favorite flavor is Lemon Lime. My daughter’s favorite Orange Mango! Here are all the flavors that BodyArmor has to offer:
- Fruit Punch
- Orange Mango
- Strawberry Banana
- Tropical Punch
- Grape
- Lemon Lime
- Mixed Berry

I would like to thank the folks again over at BodyArmor SuperDrink for allowing my daughter to try out their products again. We will be replenishing again soon.

Body Armor is not natural. Body Armor contains cyanocobalamin, a chemical compound with a laundry list of possible side effects that include hives, difficulty breathing, swelling, headaches, nausea, upset stomach, diarrhea, joint pain, and itching.
According to the label, one bottle has 200% of an adults RDI of this chemical. What would that be for a small child? 400%, 500%, more?

Thanks for the info and concern. Thankfully no side effects here. We love Body Armor and choose it over Gateorade. Plus my daughter only drinks it once a week, not every day. She’s 12, not a small child as I would never give this to my younger children. As active as my daughter is, it just works for us. =)It’s always good to compare facts.
Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Many blessings to you and your family!
