Keep Summer Comfortable with Fairy Tales Bug Bandit {Mommy Review}

Hello, my name is Samantha and as a mom of two young boys I feel like we spend a large part of our summer outside. That being said I have spent lots of time and money researching and buying different bug repellents.  I jumped at the chance to test out Fairy Tales Bug Bandit and review it for you guys.

What I noticed first is that it has a pleasant light scent and does not leave a sticky residue. It was easy to spray and comes in a large 8 ounce bottle. Being a mother I always find it important to find a balance in products I use on or around my kids. Bug Bandit is Deet and pesticide free and it actually kept the bugs off extremely well.

For first use, I sprayed myself and my two boys down when we went out to collect pinecones.

I was so surprised by the lack of bites. We had one between the three of us. I didn’t believe it so I went out the next night without spray to see and my legs were covered with bug bites. I continued to use this product over the next few weeks, soccer games, car shows, the zoo, and just playing in the yard nightly and this product kept us almost bite free compared to the times I forgot to apply it.

The company mentions it can be used on all members of the family including pets so we sprayed down our German shepherd with it too. While I can’t say for sure if it helped her with bites when she was outside, she smelled nice. I highly recommend this bug spray and can honestly say it will be packed for all the summer fun we have coming up. I loved the ease of use and nice smell and after using every spray, cream, and bracelet out there it was nice to find something non-toxic that actually worked.
