DIY Race Tracks for Kids

Kids and creativity go hand-in-hand even when it comes to making things whether indoors or outdoors. I recently came across a few ideas on how kids can make their own race tracks for toy cars. These ideas are not only brilliant, but pretty easy to execute as well.

Backyard Race Tracks

Basically, pick an area in your yard that you don’t mind digging up. Using a shovel, dig up a canal resembling a race track. Make loops, curves, etc. Purchase race track roads or make one yourself from Michaels or Hobby Lobby and place onto shoveled areas. This is perfect, especially if you don’t want kids racing the cars in the house.
