Do you have sensitive skin? I must say, mine is beyond sensitive and I am very limited to what I can use, primarily on my face. A good example of this are makeup wipes. Those tear up my skin even if they say “for sensitive skin.” Why is that? It was brought to my attention that a lot of these skincare companies use a variety of chemicals in their wipes. Well, that’s not good!

Since I am now inside my 41-year-old skin…did I just say my age? Yikes, I did. Ha, no worries, I am feeling good and blessed to be alive. 😉 But I want to keep my skin healthy not only with skincare products but with the makeup I choose to use on my face. I also have oily skin which makes it even more of a challenge to find skincare products that won’t agitate my skin.

Here are some healthy tips for sensitive skin. Hopefully this helps you too! Are you ready?

My healthy skincare regiment consists of

*Hypoallergenic facial cleansers

*Followed up with an occasional hypoallergenic moisturizer.

*For makeup, I try to use mineral based options such as Physicians Formula.

*To remove makeup, I use a chemical free product.

That’s really it! If you are unsure of a product, simply don’t use it! If you can’t read ingredients on a product. Don’t use it! It’s a challenge trying to stay healthy even in skincare, but it’s definitely beneficial in the long run.

What are your thoughts or tips? What do you use if you have sensitive skin? Would love to hear from you!
